Long before restaurants found their place on Koh Samui, family reunions were marked by a special ritual: each family member would contribute their own specialty dish to share with one another. Locally, we call this "Kin Hor." At The Drawing Room, I’ve sought to honor this tradition from my extended family, offering a microcosm of a century-old Samuian culinary heritage. It is a celebration of togetherness, where every dish reflects the spirit of home.
